Disabled access with a difference

We recently received a call from Lee, a local resident here on the coast who’s husband has a passion for the water but yet could not easily gain access to their family pool. Lee and Franchot of Robina tried many different companies on the Coast to build them a disabled access gangway into the family pool, yet found it very difficult to find a company willing to help.

Simon Dyer of Aqua Construction took on the job and put his 20 years of marine construction experience into designing this gangway from scratch, complete with non-slip tread, dual hand rails for support, powder coated finish, anodes to stop corrosion and adjustable feet to raise and lower the entry height into the pool. Franchot had not been in the pool for quiet sometime and on the first day his words were “I feel re-born” after what was an amazing swim.
